About
Jonathan Kane was born in Miami Beach, Florida in 1957. His family moved to Naples, Florida when Jonathan was 5 years old. In Naples, He attended grades K–12 and then went on to The University of Miami. After one year, he came back to Naples and got a job as photographer for a weekly newspaper. After that, he attended The University of Florida as an art major and then The San Francisco Art Institute. Jonathan eventually became a stockbroker for 15 years before moving back to Naples in 2001 to pursue his love of photography. He has exhibited many times at the Von Liebig Art Center in Naples, Florida and is a member of the faculty.
